Home Cooking Made Simple

That's the motto of Maureen and Eddie Yueh's locally owned business where busy people can come in at their convenience, from Wednesday through Saturday, to prepare meals for the family. At Simply Dinners, all ingredients are chopped, measured, bagged and stored for later. When you're ready to wow the family, just remove from the freezer and follow the simple instructions to bake, grill or stir-fry. The food is family-friendly and simple to prepare at 7865 E. Broadway Blvd., Suite 155, 615-9050. Learn more at www.simply-dinners.com.

BBQ4U

If you've ever been to the SAHBA Home Show, you know the air is permeated with the seductive aroma of good barbecue. Bill Shank gets credit for that. He's a full-time Safeway butcher who also does part-time corporate catering and street fairs under the shingle BBQ4U. This year, on April 8-10 at the Tucson Convention Center, Bill readies steak burritos, steak sandwiches and whole tri-tips for sale. Tip: Cook a whole tri-tip with the fat intact; trim the fat, then cut against the grain. Contact BBQ4U directly at 749-1492.

Tokyo Tuesdays

Every Tuesday from 8 to 11 p.m., RA implodes with classic monster and martial arts movies, drink specials (try the vodka and Red Bull), special sushi rolls and a mega-monster sampler plate. Located at 2905 E. Skyline Drive; 615-3970. RA rocks.

Hot Concepts

Fox Restaurant Concepts' Sauce Pizza & Wine has won the prestigious Nation's Restaurant News 2005 Hot Concepts! Award. Hot Concepts! is a yearly award selected by the editors of NRN to recognize forward-thinking companies with emerging growth potential. Sauce is located at 7117 N. Oracle Road and 5285 E. Broadway Blvd. A third Sauce will be coming to Campbell Avenue near Glenn Street later this year.
